Assistant Principal-Mr. Patrick Talley

After spending twenty years in the Talladega County School District as a middle and high school teacher, assistant principal, and high school principal, I’m excited to continue my journey in education as an assistant principal at Saraland Elementary School. I spent twelve years in the classroom, followed by three years as an assistant principal and five years as a high school principal. These experiences have shaped my passion for leadership, student achievement, and school improvement.
I am originally from Oxford, Alabama. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Jacksonville State University and completed my leadership certification in 2017.
My time in education has been immensely rewarding and has allowed me to lead initiatives that have significantly enhanced academic performance and school culture. I prioritize collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity in all aspects of my work, and I believe that strong relationships and shared goals are essential to a thriving school environment.
I’m married to my wonderful wife, who is also an educator, and we have one daughter. As a family, we value education deeply and enjoy staying engaged in our school and community life.
